Eavesdropping

Eavesdropping🦻

As soon as I read the topic , my mind was quite blank.. A topic can make a better story or flop. So I decided not to write a story. Instead, I choose to write the live experience of eavesdropping.

First, let’s list the place where people talk in middle of crowd assuming it is their best privacy place. Baseline is a crowded place filled with people’s talk.. talk.. talk.. The places that i could easily remember at this moment are, crowded city bus, not the volvo ones where people pay for AC to sleep, Market, Park, and finally a marriage hall!..

The blog is on my experience on a bus journey on typical sunday evening! Lets ovehear... :-)

I went for shopping and took bus on my return. My hands are already balanced with shopped items. Usually, On Sunday, buses are meant to be crowded than weekdays.. After a couple of minutes wait, I noticed a bus was approaching the bus stop where i stand but crowded.. Pretty much this day also, as expected it was crowded. I decided to get in as there is no point in waiting for another one because the next one might be another nightmare..

After stepping into the bus, I had hard time to get my spot to stand with a rod support and my luggage to be in safest to be precise, to be in front of my eyes. My most preferable way of travelling in bus would be a window seat with my playlist playing on my headset !! In Bangalore , it is not that hard to get the experience but, not on weekends. Weekends travel is always a tougher ones. With the helpless look, I looked around to see what is my surrounding upto.

In front of me,  two girls, settled with their playlist and sleeping nicely by adding gelusil to my stomach.. Lucky them!!. with a sigh, Next seat, a lady was constantly texting someone in whats app and next one girl was in video call. I never understand that how people manage to take video call in a noisy bus and I could see who was in the video call.. one girl was in the house dress. I preassume that would be her friend and they were talking about some Rohan.. somehow they did not interest me.. !

"Madam, ticket.” Conductor pushed through everyone and stood in front of me.. “ I say, one to Electronic city …”  “change kodi ,madam” and “ I said, no sir, No change..”. then he scribbled 2 rupees in the right corner of the ticket. An additional task to track the conductor to get the two rupees.. Uhmm.. Bus stop came. Few got down and I eventually moved front. Now interesting, I looked at the girl next to me.. She was into solving puzzle.. it interested me.. I

I like solving puzzle even though I do not crack most of them. So peeped into her mobile and try to squeeze my mind little bit over there to solve them..

  •  Puzzle #1: what is the difference between a fly and a mosquito..  She needs to type in.. the 10 second starsts.. 10, 9.. 1. even I was thinking hard.. no way.. .she also did not know
    • Answer:  A mosquito can fly but fly cannot mosquito….” My mind voice, what a mokkai puzzle…”.
  •  Puzzle #2: The record for the longest human nose is eleven inches . why? ” My mind voice, Oh my.. first of all. Is it real that someone had 11 inches nose. Time is ticking and 10 sec over.”
    • The answer is : if it is 12 inch then it would be called 1 feet.  I could not stop giggling.. I silently laughed… me, decent girl.. !!:-)
  •  Puzzle #3:There is a room of which ghost is afraid of? “ My mind voice, Oh.. interesting.. Suddenly I said puja room. So involved.. you see.. that girl looked up to me.. I said ..hehe.. sorry.. I was just trying to solve.. She smiled at me…10 secs over
    • Answer: Living room.

Suddenly she got up and bus stopped. Luckily, she was not annoyed with poking bevioir. and she got down. But, I could not replace her in seat as there wasa lady who booked the place in advance. I moved myself back again as few more people got in..Suddenly one kid started crying. it was quite suffocating, so i assumed that that would be the reason and In the crying sound, I can hear the conversation.

The lady with green saree was telling the other one, “you know what happened, the Sanjeev believed that the kid is not his kid …So Kannama slapped him and left the house.. now she is walking in the road.

The other lady with yellow one, oh is it.. yesterday I did not watch the serial as my mother in law wanted to watch Sitti-2 in sun-tv and you know worst part is remote was her in hand.

My mind voice… “Serial ladies…!!”

I just looked around.. exhausted of standing and listening!! Hey.. finally I found a seat to settle down.. huh.. Sat down and relaxed !!

Well, To be honest, eavesdropping is not a bad. it makes the toughest journey to a tough journey.. esp.. while you are standing in bus with the anxiety. Sometimes, turns to be good entertainment. Observing people behavior is an art. Eavesdropping sometimes helps to know the different perception of life.

Is it right??

Justice! Today the topic is,   Justice! As soon as I heard the word, I remembered Karna! Most of us favorite character in Mahabharat! It is my version. Hence I request not to compare with the epic Mahabhart and the literature written by legends!😌 His birth was impulsive act by  princess Kunti! Surya’s Son. Born as prince , he did not get the right to live the life of prince! He was not mentored by Dhronacharya. Panchali insulted him in her suyamavar because of the caste he grow up..  His guru and cow herder gave a curse, that costed his life.. Kunti confessed the truth when the life of Pandavas was at risk.. It is hard to digest the fact that the mother who gave birth does not want accept and acknowledge him as her son! Injustice!!🙍 His life was tailored to face injustice !! What Karna did towards injustice is made him today also as Hero in Mahabharat and  equivalent to Arjuna!  He embraced all the injustices given to him. He has given his best to exce...

Kanni Maadam

Kanni Maadam- Book Review.. First of all, writing the pure Tamizh names to echo the same is really tough.. However here is my take.. I must appreciate the writer for writing it so lengthy. Even though in few places the description of the situation is dragging, but is not failing to impress neither it is hurts the story line.. The storyline, takes back to the world of king and war! Once upon a time, Tamilnadu was open to dangerous. Everyone wants to rule it because of the wealth or someone gave them space to stay! The story revolves around Madurai and Nellai. During that time, the primary rulers were Pandiyas  (Madurai) and Cholas (Nellai). During the thayathi war, Parakrama pandya was killed by Kulasekhara Pandiya. Before dying, he sought help from Illangarapuran to fight with Kulasekaran. Illllangarapuran defeated Kulasekara Pandyan and made Veerapandiyan as king i.e Parakirama Pandya’s son. So it become like a joke i.e I am wearing a shirt but it is not mine.. or in same line...

A Telescopic view of API

From a Business Analyst- Telescopic View to API The development/technical folks tell you a few words all day and the words register, echo… There is more than one way to deal with that Ignore the echo and start using the words like a pro; beyond that word, you would not have any idea about it. Explore the basics to get familiarised with the words and make yourself comfortable. Third, deep dive into the world and become a techie!! Do not like those words, it annoys you, it is time to change your role.. :-) I belong to the second category. This blog is for the first /second set of people likes to get comfortable with the techie words.! One of the highly used words in my previous organization and here, in my 2nd project is APIs/webservices.
