As I sat down with my morning coffee near my window seat, closed my eyes, trying to recollect our meeting..

Our meeting started with an awkward moment... I came to the mall 2hrs early for the movie as my time did not pass by .The coffee shop was too crowded. I could see an empty table with two chairs, empty in a corner.. I sat by that table.I thought it would be empty as always. But you came in ,smiled and said, "Sorry, this table is reserved by my me.. Can you shift to another table". .I looked up at you from my youtube troll video and coffee.

Looked around and then said, "Sorry, there is no place.. Can I sit here for another 10 mins to finish my coffee and cake? You agreed,and sat opposite to me. I still remember the plaid shirt and jeans you were wearing… You were neither lean nor obese.. I guessed that you were aroud 34 years by age. Without asking anything, you said you were waiting for your girl to arrive and left the place to take coffee for yourself.

So the awkward moment , not knowing what to say after that. Then we looked at each other with a fake smile, then I asked, "What is your name? May I know who you are waiting for?" Hesitantly, you said, "I am Krishna, I here on a date. The girl is stuck in traffic; looks like she would take more time to reach". I understood how uncomfortable you were by your incomplete response and restlessness. So, how did you guys meet? You replied saying Sorry. There I realized that I was crossing my line. I replied saying i asked just to kill time, let's not talk about it if you're not comfortable. "No no, nothing like that, we met over a matrimonial site and today, we are meeting in person". I said, "that’s cool". I finished my coffee n cake by then. I asked if i shall make a move or stay by till she comes? You paused uncomfortably and then said, "You can stay back still she joins". Then we started talking about work. The phone came from her and she said that she would be late by another hr. So you both decided to call off the date for the day. You put the phone down and turned to me and said that you have called off the date for a day, so you're leaving. We left the coffee shop to our own ways.

My movie is another an hour away. I need to kill another hour in the mall. I was bored. Instead of window shopping, for a change, i decided to go bowling. I got a place to play. right after I settled down, while I was aiming at the ball no. 8 to hit the ten pins, I heard a familiar voice. you were there with a surprised look. I was about to ask if you're stalking me, but did not. There were no much conversation here. We were too busy in aiming and getting the ten pins down. We cheered for each other. The time was up. Then again we said good bye, now with a big smile. As I walked towards the theatre, I did not notice you.

But in the theatre, again you were there right next to me. I could not stop laughing at our coincidence. Your friends were lined up next to you. It was dark, so I could not see them. As the movie went by, we felt connected. We decided to take it from there and you asked for my name. I heard my name with a jerk, and I woke up. Then I realized it was early morning. The water guy was calling me.
