Bon Appetit!

 Food!

Today blog is on Food.. !  As soon as I write food, tempted to have something.. Gulped an omelet and a packet of chiki.. Before I tempt to eat something else, let me finish blog today!

Even before music, food is all-time favorite thing! Food works as one of the best pampering and therapy for all sort of emotional ups n downs and strictly, only while eating. No cooking..

p.s: I love to cook if I can experiment on someone  and providing the other person  eat with no complaints and appreciate me with goodies.. Day Dream! Umm..

in short, my brain does not work if I happen to starve. Dare to starve!! No ways..

The golden memories from my food journey..

Incident #1:

In 2009,  I was travelling from Mysore to Salem. That’s was an entire night journey.  In those days, only countable buses were available to Salem from Mysore and I was travelling on a public holiday. Hence, there was less possibilities for me to get a bus without booking. I am not that planned traveller when it is going to native, till date..

On that day, Around 8 PM, I reached Mysore bus-stand. With no wait, started searching for the bus. One bus was leaving from bus-stand. Rushed near to it and glanced from outside..It was completely filled with people including the standing places and stair cases. There was no hope for me fit into it.. With disappointment,  took U-turn to start my searching. There the voice of the conductor.. "Madam, please come, there is no bus after this.. banni .. (come in – Kannada).. I told him there is no place. He had no mood to leave me until I say , Yes.. Anyways I said yes because he offered his place till I get a seat.. Wow. what a sacrifice in the money making process!! Well,  Who is stopping then.. Got into the bus and sat comfortably in conductor seat..

After 30 mins, I started feeling hungry and realized forget to pack dinner .Imagine what I would have done?

Eventhough I am silent person (till date) by nature, when hunger comes, there is no way I can remain quiet.. To his luck or my luck, the conductor sat on the bus engine. I looked at him and started whining.. It went like this,  "Sir, you asked me to get in and  Now I am hungry.. what to do..? he was like, what to do?? There was no bus after this, we were helping you.". but I was no mood to keep quite either convinced by his answers.. I was going on for 5 mins.. There comes our hero, Driver, he was listening to all this and  was laughing.. My concentration switched to driver..But he was nice on a good note.. he said, Madam, do not worry, eat this..He offered his idly parcel Haha....

There is no way you could imagine I said NO..

Indeed, I had it nicely and thanked him.. After my stomach filled, than my brain started working.. I packed few snacks for home.. I shared with the driver since he sacrificed his food. Eventhough, I went with no snack, but I can never forget this journey. For an introvert person like me, it was indeed huge step to say what i feel to stranger..umm.. true ! and ideally I was not expecting myself to share food with Drivers.. hehe.!😊

Incident #2: Coffee Day Introduction

Those days, Coffee Day was not my place of choice mainly due to the royalty and brand image. It never made me feel that I can afford a coffee without guilty. So it was quite exiciting when I stepped into coffee day for a treat.. Silly.. but still! My senior  treat and It was a custom that followed in that office i.e.treating new buddies by senior and they claim it back. After exicited entry, not knowing what to order went by senior opinon.. he ordered one Coffee. Coffee was given as given in the picture

Even though , coffee was delightful to my eyes with beautiful heart on top layer. On my first sip it was not my cup of coffee… reasons 1. Made of milk powder.. 2. Coffee taste cannot beat Bru or Nescafe 3. Sugar,  add and mix it.. I hate to disturb the texture once it is done.

Final realization, I prepare better coffee..

Incident#3: 5 rupees Maggi..

Back 2005, met my friend over a lunch . She prepared 5 rupees Maggi for both us and expected that that would be a complete lunch for two people. it is 2 minute noodles but she misunderstood that as 2 people noodles.. 😏.. haha ..lol..  But till date,  I have not stopped teasing her for that.. Lol.. funny girl.. later we had lunch outside..

Basically, I was moved by the planning.. wow wow,

Likewise I have had many more great moments part of  my food journey ..with family, friends and colleagues... Food never disappoints in creating moments!!..:-)

Eat healthy, stay safe.

Kanni Maadam

Kanni Maadam- Book Review.. First of all, writing the pure Tamizh names to echo the same is really tough.. However here is my take.. I must appreciate the writer for writing it so lengthy. Even though in few places the description of the situation is dragging, but is not failing to impress neither it is hurts the story line.. The storyline, takes back to the world of king and war! Once upon a time, Tamilnadu was open to dangerous. Everyone wants to rule it because of the wealth or someone gave them space to stay! The story revolves around Madurai and Nellai. During that time, the primary rulers were Pandiyas  (Madurai) and Cholas (Nellai). During the thayathi war, Parakrama pandya was killed by Kulasekhara Pandiya. Before dying, he sought help from Illangarapuran to fight with Kulasekaran. Illllangarapuran defeated Kulasekara Pandyan and made Veerapandiyan as king i.e Parakirama Pandya’s son. So it become like a joke i.e I am wearing a shirt but it is not mine.. or in same line...

A Telescopic view of API

From a Business Analyst- Telescopic View to API The development/technical folks tell you a few words all day and the words register, echo… There is more than one way to deal with that Ignore the echo and start using the words like a pro; beyond that word, you would not have any idea about it. Explore the basics to get familiarised with the words and make yourself comfortable. Third, deep dive into the world and become a techie!! Do not like those words, it annoys you, it is time to change your role.. :-) I belong to the second category. This blog is for the first /second set of people likes to get comfortable with the techie words.! One of the highly used words in my previous organization and here, in my 2nd project is APIs/webservices. My experience with Webserices/API: Around 5+ yrs, with the team who developed Webservices/API.  Now, I am on the other end. Pretty much I have the hands-on experience of both provider and consumer.. Hence, I can give you decent tips to make...
