Cooking is not my passion!!
As I got to know what makes me happy likewise, I understood that cooking is not my passion. As the lockdown started, there is no travel time. At a times, there were moments where I missed Bangalore traffic jam. Stuck in a traffic jam and reading book. Missing those days! A perfect reading time!
With that travelling time nullified, Being foodie, I decided to use the time on cooking.. In the experiment process, I really burnt the cake not one time , many times!! Broke n repaired the mixer in the trail of vada.. vada become corona ponda(semi cooked) etc..that was not less than any night mare.. I literally started hating to see the kitchen sink always filled with vessels.. Never ending cleaning process.. not even single cup of coffee was free..! cooking life sucks!!
Then only I realized that I do not have patience to measure the ingredients and mix the baker mix soothingly so that soft sponge cake can delight eyes + tongue. Nor I enjoy cleaning the vessels!!
The problem is that , I did not want to repeat it or do it until I make it perfect.. Exactly, to do something to the nearest perfection needs a lot of patience and passion.. So I never had that towards cooking..indeed never towards cleaning vessels.. ☹
Cooking was a need for me.. I decently make few main dishes and curries and interestingly I was not bored to have the same menu every day as far as it is edible.. !!.. :๐
My signature dish , dosa , on dessert nothing.. ☹
On eating.. the menu list never ends.. lol.. ;-)
Well.. Meet you in next blog. Till than, comment n let me know how passionate you are towards cooking?
