Lockdown #1: Learning

Surya Namaskar!!🌞

As the lockdown started, I have been lazing around and relaxed a month assuming things will be normal soon .. so no workout for a month and lazily waiting for the day to hit the gym.. Uhmmm… Lockdown is stretching out.. and my laziness too..!

Work out in a day is must for me and I feel complete when I complete 1 hr. workout on the day. Hence, started figuring out a way to get back to my workout routine at home itself.🤔

Work out, for me is not only stretching body or toning… It helps to stress free and makes me feel alive! And of course it is challenges me every now n than and makes me feel proud when I do better than yesterday!😎

On the searching process , I stopped by the  cult-fit app and its online class!

I did try few free style dance class before settling out with yoga , but somehow I could not match their energy level and did not impress me too.. Uhmm.. !!😜

Yoga classes are very interesting, it had the pace that I can fit in and has the challenge that always pulled me towards it. i.e flexible!!  😍

Class structure is of Warm up, Suryanamaskar (shivanada style) , following few asanas to make core strengthening , hip opener etc , cooling asana and finally yoga nidhra (my fav. Part.. 😍)

When I started yoga, it was not easy.. I could not complete one online class completely .. To do perfect "Plank to Ashtanga Namaskara" I took almost 1.5 months by breaking hand! and ‘Parvatasana’ to ‘Ashwa Sanchalanasana/ still a challenge.. shortcut still.. :-)

But as the day passed, with the regular practice my body is back to flexible and my stamina also improved. Now I can do 24 rounds of suryanamaskar on a single shot..

Is work out part of day to life? if so, what is your fav. version? Add in comment..👀

Meet you in next blog..😇

  1. Oh yeah! I have the same feeling when it comes to work outs! I feel like I can do a lot more during the day when I finish that work out quota, but I do prefer fresh air over indoor workouts! Biking's been a recent fav!

Kanni Maadam

Kanni Maadam- Book Review.. First of all, writing the pure Tamizh names to echo the same is really tough.. However here is my take.. I must appreciate the writer for writing it so lengthy. Even though in few places the description of the situation is dragging, but is not failing to impress neither it is hurts the story line.. The storyline, takes back to the world of king and war! Once upon a time, Tamilnadu was open to dangerous. Everyone wants to rule it because of the wealth or someone gave them space to stay! The story revolves around Madurai and Nellai. During that time, the primary rulers were Pandiyas  (Madurai) and Cholas (Nellai). During the thayathi war, Parakrama pandya was killed by Kulasekhara Pandiya. Before dying, he sought help from Illangarapuran to fight with Kulasekaran. Illllangarapuran defeated Kulasekara Pandyan and made Veerapandiyan as king i.e Parakirama Pandya’s son. So it become like a joke i.e I am wearing a shirt but it is not mine.. or in same line...

A Telescopic view of API

From a Business Analyst- Telescopic View to API The development/technical folks tell you a few words all day and the words register, echo… There is more than one way to deal with that Ignore the echo and start using the words like a pro; beyond that word, you would not have any idea about it. Explore the basics to get familiarised with the words and make yourself comfortable. Third, deep dive into the world and become a techie!! Do not like those words, it annoys you, it is time to change your role.. :-) I belong to the second category. This blog is for the first /second set of people likes to get comfortable with the techie words.! One of the highly used words in my previous organization and here, in my 2nd project is APIs/webservices. My experience with Webserices/API: Around 5+ yrs, with the team who developed Webservices/API.  Now, I am on the other end. Pretty much I have the hands-on experience of both provider and consumer.. Hence, I can give you decent tips to make...
