Number 13!

 Number 13. 💀

“Sir, you look like an IT guy, what happened sir? what brought you here?”, ask inmate. I did not want to kill those 12 people. But I need to do it.

The inmate with a shell shock expression, says, 12 murders!!  “Yes! Do you want to listen?”

It all started when I got a call from them. They said if I don't do it, my family and I might die.

I reached the hotel much earlier than I expected. She handed over the room key to me. The room number read No.13. A perfect number for murder. I smiled and tried to settle down. Briefly, the room was kept clean and had two beds. I assumed that no one would share the room. I had a full proof plan for my last murder execution. Once again, I revisited my plan. Sharp 9 PM, dine with him and make him to smell. That’s all! Job done. I checked the packet and reconfirmed by myself. I need to make him smell.

With reconfirmation, looked at the watch. It is 4 PM. I decided to rest for a while after shower.  I laid down with newspaper which I bought near by the shop. Eventually I slept off. Suddenly, altered by the door sound. With hesitation, I opened the door. He was standing with a bag. “Hello, sir, if you do not mind, I am here to share the room since there is no room available.”, he said, and introduced himself as Naren by extending his hand. I extended my hand and but no words.

“Why sir, what happened...? “In-mate ask. “No questions, please! Shall I continue? “, I say.

The person I wanted to kill was in front of me. I was taken back and kept staring at him. He ignored my reaction, entered the room and asked my name. Before I said something, he continued, “have we met before? You look familiar to me.” “Immediately, I said yes and no. He got confused, I guess! Again, he asked,” what is my name?”  Vikram, I said.  He looked at my bed and said, “looks like I disturbed your sleep?” “No. yes”, I said. I was still confused. I could not take any more questions from him. So, I rushed to washroom and splashed water on my face and stared at the mirror for some time.

Shall I attempt or leave now?  Now he is here. and If I kill him now, the suspicion might fall one me. Do I need to attempt?? If I do not kill him, my family and I must die. The door was knocked. He said, “sorry, sir. I wanted to use restroom.

I left the restroom. I mixed the powder in the water bottle and waited for him to return. Once he returned, he dialed some number. He was not trapped. I was! There was a camera that watched my activities. Before he left to restroom, he set the camera to watch my activities.

“What is the powder?” ask, in-mate…

I have been randomly selected by some group of people whom I have not even met yet. They blackmailed me saying If I do not complete, they would kill my family. They instructed me whom I need to meet when and where. My job is to make the chosen people to consume or smell the powder. The powder is medicine for new disease vaccine and the chosen people were the trails. All of them died except him!

Is it right??

Justice! Today the topic is,   Justice! As soon as I heard the word, I remembered Karna! Most of us favorite character in Mahabharat! It is my version. Hence I request not to compare with the epic Mahabhart and the literature written by legends!😌 His birth was impulsive act by  princess Kunti! Surya’s Son. Born as prince , he did not get the right to live the life of prince! He was not mentored by Dhronacharya. Panchali insulted him in her suyamavar because of the caste he grow up..  His guru and cow herder gave a curse, that costed his life.. Kunti confessed the truth when the life of Pandavas was at risk.. It is hard to digest the fact that the mother who gave birth does not want accept and acknowledge him as her son! Injustice!!🙍 His life was tailored to face injustice !! What Karna did towards injustice is made him today also as Hero in Mahabharat and  equivalent to Arjuna!  He embraced all the injustices given to him. He has given his best to exce...

Kanni Maadam

Kanni Maadam- Book Review.. First of all, writing the pure Tamizh names to echo the same is really tough.. However here is my take.. I must appreciate the writer for writing it so lengthy. Even though in few places the description of the situation is dragging, but is not failing to impress neither it is hurts the story line.. The storyline, takes back to the world of king and war! Once upon a time, Tamilnadu was open to dangerous. Everyone wants to rule it because of the wealth or someone gave them space to stay! The story revolves around Madurai and Nellai. During that time, the primary rulers were Pandiyas  (Madurai) and Cholas (Nellai). During the thayathi war, Parakrama pandya was killed by Kulasekhara Pandiya. Before dying, he sought help from Illangarapuran to fight with Kulasekaran. Illllangarapuran defeated Kulasekara Pandyan and made Veerapandiyan as king i.e Parakirama Pandya’s son. So it become like a joke i.e I am wearing a shirt but it is not mine.. or in same line...

A Telescopic view of API

From a Business Analyst- Telescopic View to API The development/technical folks tell you a few words all day and the words register, echo… There is more than one way to deal with that Ignore the echo and start using the words like a pro; beyond that word, you would not have any idea about it.
